So I came here! Mostly looking for ways to cope at work... I am in retail at a thrift store... it's hard! I have bee on a month leave from work but I go back tomorrow, so I am doing everything I can today to prepare myself, because I feel I've healed a lot, but it may change when the work stress is turned back up and I don't have access to my safe space (aka my home and my bed). Customers stress me out the most they always feel the need to tell me how tired I look and share thier stupid opinions with me. Then some customers are just downright creepy and awful! The worst part is that they come in all the time.. often JUST TO BOTHER ME AND NOT BUY ANYTHING. On top of that the radio is torture. So anyway, gonna go to the forum and see what I can find there on this topic.

Sometimes we take on things that really are setting us up for failure. The job may not be a good fit. Retail isn't easy. On the other hand, giving you a month off shows a better company that many would give. Sometimes we are trying to fix the past with what we do in the present.

Thanks it turned out to not be as bad as I thought it would be. I guess the month off really did help! I wish everyone could do that. I really do.
