First Day Without My Service Dog...

Yes, as a person without their service companion and complex PTSD this was a huge step. He was not far away, it was just 2 hours, but he stayed in the truck, after a nice long walk in the park. My boyfriend and I went to Dave and Buster's , played games and had fun. I thought I would be constantly looking over my shoulder, for my stalker/abuser, but I did not. Orion, my dear dog and companion was waiting safely in the car. The weather was a comfortable 50 degrees. This is a baby step, as he will still go with me when alone to everything, but I branched out, and in the road to recovery itwas a big baby step for me. So, today, take a little risk and see what happens. You may just assume some pride you thought was lost. I know I did!
