Hi missdiannedyas23,

Personally, I think that's a question best left to health care professionals. This is a survivor community for people who are dealing with PTSD. My concern is that though well intended, feedback you get here without knowing your situation might be more harmful than beneficial.

Cheers,

Dan

Each person is different with the way meds work for you, and it takes time to find the best one or the best combination for you. I've had to change my "cocktail" of meds several times in the last few years. They work great for a year or more, and then something changes and I have to re-evaluate and work with my doctor to find the right combo for that time and place. Don't be afraid to tell your doctor all of the things you are feeling, talk about triggers, and about severity. He'll be able to help you find what's best. :)

Yes I would definitely raise this with your doctor. Unfortunately we are all individuals and what's right for me may well not be right for you. I'm assuming that this medication has been prescribed for you by your doctor. I've always found that my doctor who knows my case for example I also have a heart condition called long qt and he has to measure the side effects of any medication and whether the side effect is it will interfere with my heart rhythm as some do. Now for people who don't have that same condition a certain medication may be fine. Please talk to yfor doctor about your needs and possibl fears around anything prescribed for you.
