I have been informed that the tribunal will take place in the next 11 -15 weeks. Please could anyone advise me on what to do next? where can i get help with preparation. I'm a nervous wreck and just can't think straight. I'd be grateful for any assistance. Thanks

Hello there Shandy

Well done for appealing against your benefit decision. If you are interested in receiving the Benefits and Work info sheets on ESA and DLA, we can send these to you for free if you email us on info@fibroaction.org. They have lots of useful info on completing forms, assessments and appeals.

I am sure other members will post on this thread with helpful hints and details of their experiences which you may find helpful.

Wishing you all the very best with your appeal.

Take care. (((hug))) xxx

Hi i to am going to tribunal and i dont have a clue how to prepare for it, i have asked my doctor for a copy of my notes and they will only go back as far as march and its going to cost me £25 which i think is way to much but i have no choice but to pay it :(

Please make sure you take someone with you for moral support. If you can possibly access it take legal representation because then they can talk to them and not rip in to you. I heard from someone legal helping me with my tribunal challenge that its a fact that those with legal representation are 50% more likely to have the desired outcome (in my words that is justice) Good luck and I am praying for a sprinkling of justice for you now ;) NN
