Can anyone tell me how long the wait is from having the medical to receiving the letter please?

It can vary depending on the office dealing with it average I was told is 4-6 weeks.

Mine took 4 weeks from the medical to the letter saying I'd failed. That was June I just got letter from DWP 3 weeks ago saying they are looking at the decision and if I fail that they will send it to the appeal tribunal - so it can be a very long winded affair

I received mine about two weeks after. Hope you do not have to wait too long.

The first I found out about my medical was when I was due to be paid, went shopping, card was declined due to no funds, phoned them up and was told I failed the medical, got the letter the following week, what was more annoying was this was just before Christmas last year and didn't get any money at all until February this year even though I let them know I would be appealing against the decision immediately. Just be aware, they can be sneaky at the DWP.

I think I got mine in two weeks, I wondered if it had anything to do with me phoning them to ask this question, maybe that it bought my papers to the front, who knows!

i don't think there is a set time as they actually said to me it could take up to weeks on the phone. hope you ear soon xx
