Atos are coming to my home ,I rang them and said that I couldn't manage the journey.As it's my home can I record the assessment without them complaining?

I don't think they would agree to it but as its ur home do they really have say. I would love to b able to record an assessment with them just for my own records. Looking forward 2 seeing if they will allow u to do it but somehow can not see them agreeing. I suppose you could record it without their knowledge.... (maybe I shouldn't say that..lol). Hi,I went for atoas medical and my daughter recorded the interview on her mobile phone,she left it in full view of examiner who did'nt question it and if they had of asked i would have said i wish to record it as my memory is so poor i would forget afterwards once outside what i had been asked or answered luckily i did not need to refer back to it as i was passed into support group but better safe than sorry.I am sure though that it's not allowed to be submitted in any appeal but at least you can play it to any legal team if necessary if the outcome is unexpected or there is any details that have been amended by examiner.Hope all goes well for you good luck x

I to would say about memory loss cos its not a lie us sufferers to get brain fog ,well I defo do .Amanda I wouldn't worry its your home ,you or them have nothing to hide so good luck hun Ness x

i had a medical asessment yesterday in my home i didnt ask for it to be done at home they just rang and told me it was nerve racking and i ended up crying cos the doc touched a part of my back and it was like being stabbed i secretly recorded the medical hid the dictafone behind my unit i wasnt being devious but i had heard of alot of horror stories so just wanted to cover myself so becoz its being done in your house i would record it and good luck xox
