Hi

When I get fibro symptoms I also get what feels like swollen glands in all sorts of places, but it may be that they are muscular swellings?

It would be advisable to get this checked out with your GP Munchkin to make sure this is ok and to rule our other conditions, illnesses etc. It would also reassure you and ensure you get the right treatment if necessary.

Please let us know how you get on, take carel. :)

I too keep getting this, i had massage and she told me it was really swollen at base of skull. My whole face is a nightmare with major sinus problems and pain, severe headaches. Didnt know if I should go to GP coz thought they would say it was Fibro again. Seem to blame everything on it, but forget all that when it comes to filling in forms. Let us know how you get on. Becareful i think we all have lumps that appear due to FIBRO,sometimes though these could be Glandular Fever not saying it likely, but we always blame FIBRO,what if we just sat there and did nothing i mean would we be irresponsible for neglecting ourselves,or on the other hand visit the doctors just for him to say nothing more can be done it,s FIBRO.I think we all want the same answers without feeling a nuisance to the doctor, what do you think?jacksiex

yes your right there hense why i havent been to the dr yet i know i should but i feel like im a nuisance and will just be fobbed of again i took a list in once not long ago as i always forget important things like why im there lol but the dr said oh thats alot of qeustion there were only 3 2 of which were why had i not received appointments from hospital for a scan opps having a blank moment !! anyhow things that were meant to have been done by herself and she admited that i should have received an appoint ment that was awhile ago and still waiting but the point is i was told i should write down any qeustions and then was made to feel really bad for doing so i feel that i just cant do right for doing wrong most of the time so just dont bother i hate the felling of being so flipping dependant on others guilty even xx

my kids get swollen glands on the backs of their necks, at the base of their skulls, whenever they are fighting infections of any sort. I've never noticed it on myself, but then I constantly have a sore "lumpy" neck anyway. could be you're fighting an infection though, if it's not normal for you
