I have noticed that this happens when I have a fibro flare up.
Does anyone else have slightly swolle... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Does anyone else have slightly swollen sore to the touch glands.
Hi lekcam
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Just thought I would let you know that I do not have swollen glands (that I know of), they have never given me any problems but I hope that other members can let you know about theirs.
I would say however, if this is a new problem that your doctor is unaware of, I would recommend that you discuss the issue with your GP just to rule anything else out?
Good luck with this and please keep us all up to date with how you get on?
Take care

I do. Quite hard and painful sometimes. Especially around neck/jaw. Checked them out with GP as The Author rightly suggests, but after a cursory 'feel' said it was nothing.... @**%@&! Sometimes too sore to turn head, chew, etc.
Check it out though, and hope it gets sorted. Frustration is one of the biggest flare-uppers I reckon
Gentle hugs

Sounds to me like you need a new GP Frangi-pan. If I'm not mistaken, swollen gland is a sign of some type of infection. When you have a cold, doctors always check your glands around your neck. If swollen that is an indication that something is wrong, especially if they hurt. Big hugs to you.
Always, could be a sign of ME. Doctors in Australia believe that the two conditions are linked, but as always mention to GP.
Hiya,
You do not mention specifically which glands but
I often find that the lymph nodes in my armpits are swollen and tender when my fibromyalgia is "playing up!"
In fact, this is one of the first symptoms that I ever noticed... I was concerned about breast cancer because of this....i got checked out by Dr, but nothing was found.
I now believe that this is "part and parcel " of my fibromyalgia.
So I think it is my body's immune response to fighting the fibromyalgia.
Maybe you should mention it to your doctor when you next see them, if only to put your mind at rest. Xx
Yes I get it in my neck and sometimes under my arms - and have learned that it is a sign with me that I'm getting over-tired/vulnerable and need to take extra care for a few days. It sometimes seems to happen when my body is fighting off an infection, and same rules apply - take life gently for a while (like what else do I do?). Whether or not this is connected to Fibro I don't know, but you're definitely not the only one!
Hi
I also get this with a flare up which im having at the mo....but as always u need 2 c your doctor!
sending u gentle hugs xx
Thanks for all the answers. Am havin a bad flare up at the moment. No longer go to the doctors their disinterest just makes me feel worse
I to have swollen glands almost all of the time..Gp says nothing to worry abt.for 2 days now have pain in left pelvic area and in top of leg...feel awful...but everytime i visit Gp its fibro...
I have swollen glands and sore throat all the time to varying degrees-sounds like I may be doing too much....if I do much less I will definitely be going backwards-lol. I have been referred to Ear Nose & throat Dept....To add to rheumatology Endocrinology Cardiology Gynacology!!!
When I look back over the years of having fibro, I find that the very rare periods of time when my sleeping is good my pain is greatly relieved the next day
Hi, yep I also get swollen glands, on my collar bone, armpits, groin and behind knees. It means I'm due a flare up. I would go to the docs if you are worried, if not, seems its just another wonderful part of fibro. Hope you feel better soon, Gentle Hugs x
