hi, you just search the internet for a motability scooter company. As long as your high rate is for a certain period of time they will let u purchase a scooter. I had one and was covered for accidents, repairs and they sent a recovery van to get me n said scooter home when it stopped working once. Great scheme and although it took around half my DLA for payments it was the best thing i ever had!!! UNluckily it was stolen in april but they are insured so i incurred no costs. Just a pain in bum now i am housebound once again. :(. Hope this helps x

The cheapest is just under £15 a week, I'd love one ... but to be honest if I had £60 spare a month I'd employ cleaners to come in instead!

Just google

mobility scooter dla

Put mutability into google. They are the people who run the car and scooter scheme. All the info you need is on that site.

Hi - I don't get DLA but still need a Blue Badge to help me get around. I now

have to give repeat application to Social Workers and O/therapists - none of

which have ever met me!
