The morning after a lovely day.

Good morning

Yesterday I had such a lovely day. My grown up children and granddaughter live about 12 miles away from me. We see each other a fair bit but not for any length of time. Yesterday we met up at the beach and spent the whole day together.

There is a promenade between two piers and we walked the length of it. I took frequent rests and when the path sloped over a hill I was able to lean on an arm (something I can only feel comfortable doing with family). I think we walked for about 4 - 5 hours.

It was lovely but this morning I feel like I have been trampled all over by elephants in hobnail boots. It seems that I can have these good days and make time to rest afterwards. Off for a nice bath.

Gentle hugs and wishes for an ache free day for all xx

I suspect you feel that the pain today was worth the joy of being with your family yesterday. How lovely that you could spend some quality time together. I don't get to see my children very often but I know it is always worth the struggle that follows. Hope your bath made you feel a bit better and enjoy the rest of the day. Jane x
