Hi am new here I am in severe pain across both shoulders and up both sides of my neck had fibro for years.....Been 5 days now ... Went to see my new gp today old one has moved on ... He refused to give me anything .. Told me to stop stressing .... On Monday I will be seeing a different gp .. I am overdue my trigger point injections was trying to hang on for them but I am so sore and stiff. I have tried massage and an osteopath both bought relief for a couple of days but the expense outweighed the relief . I am also in the grip of an ibs flare up so am not a happy bunny thankfully the gp did give me two lots of meds for my ibs and touch wood they are working already. Answering this with hot pack on my neck and shoulders and a miserable expression on my face.

Very grumpy

I've had two whiplash injuries to my neck, one at 18 with no seatbelt or headrest! The other one was the end of 2007 which I've never completely recovered from. I find the spasms sometimes hit at the most inconvenient times, like when checking left and right at a T-junction.

At the moment my miserable expression is mostly down to a raging tooth infection and a headache :(
