HI THERE ALL MY FIBRO PALS, SORRY FOR NOT WRITIN FOR AGES BUT I KNOW YOU'LL ALL UNDERSTAND IF YOU READ ON. WELL, I WAS LAST INTOUCH WHEN I WAS GOIN TO DUBLIN TO TAKE A DEPUTATION TO THE DAIL. SUPPORT GROUPS FROM ALL OVER IRELAND TURNED UP AND WE ALL LOOKED FAB IN PURPLE TEE SHIRTS WITH VARIOUS LOGO'S DEPENDING ON COUNTIES. THE MINISTERS AND SENATORS LISTENED TO OUR PRESENTATION AND WERE DISGUSTED THAT A CHRONIC ILLNESS FIBROMYALGIA IS NOT RECOGNISED AS A DISABILITY. WHEN THEY RETURN TO THE DAIL AFTER SUMMER RECESS THEY HAVE PROMISED TO BRING IT UP IN THE HOUSE,,,,,,WATCH THIS SPACE????

THE SUPPORT GROUP I SET UP AND STARTED IS GOIN GREAT WITH OVER 30 FIBRO SUFFERERS ATTENDING.I'VE BEEN BUSY ORGANISING BAG PACKS, CAR BOOT,T SHIRTS PRINTED,BANNERS ETC. I AM ABSOLUTLY KNACKERED. THEN TO TOP IT ALL, MY BESTEST FRIEND WAS MEETING HERE MUM OFF THE PLANE HERE AT KNOCK AIRPORT,HER COMING OVER FOR A HOLIDAY,AND DIED OF A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK JUST AS THEY WERE HUGGING AND GREETING EACH OTHER.ITS BEEN SAD,SAD AND I COULD ONLY BUT HELP HER AND COMFORT HER OVER THE WEEKEND TILL ARRANGEMENTS WERE MADE TO BRING HER MUM BACK TO THE UK. I HAD A CALL THIS MORNING FROM MY COUSIN RAY TO SAY HIS SISTER, JOAN HAD DIED THIS MORNING SO I'M WAITING FOR FUNERAL DETAILS SO I CAN BOOK A FLIGHT TO GO OVER. I DONT THINK THERE IS ANY PART OF MY BODY THAT DOE'SNT HURT. SORRY TO HAVE GONE OFF ON ONE. THE MORE SHIT THAT HAPPENS IN LIFE MAKES ME MORE DETERMINED TO MAKE THE MOST IF YOU CAN, TO ENJOY,ENJOY,ENJOY......... SOFT HUGS TO EVERYONE. I'M GOING TO FIBRO-NATE NOW. NITE NITE.XXXXX

Welcome back Rolo and I'm really sorry to hear you've had such an awful time of late. Let us know if there is any way we can all help.

Great to see you back Rolo, it sounds like you're having a tough time of it. Always here for you. Hope you manage to get some rest to pick yourself up a bit. Take care. :)

Hello Role, I'm a still a new be on here almost 2 weeks now, sounds like you had a rotten time of late so glad your trying to keep going and enjoy what part of life you can. I was wondering how did you go about setting up your support group, I live in Bradford and have not founf one here. I am unsure what the first part of your catch up is about with the purpil t shirts etc, forgive me if I sound dense although i've had fibro for many years, i am very new to the support sides, Thankyou in advance smiles and hugs xx
