INTRAVENOUS LIGNOCAINE ???? anyone any idea?
Mmmmm interesting I have pain injections every 3 months by my pain clinic 2 in each shoulder 1 in right side of back of neck and 1 in back left side by spine. Been having them since october last year called trigger point injections and you know in all that time all I know is they work controlling the muscle spasms that give me headaches... Never even thought to ask what they are actually injecting... It's weird I am super sensitive to oral meds but injection meds are no problem if you are having what I have .. One woman I see regularly has them in her head for migraines they are slightly uncomfortable to have ... Sore for a couple of hours after then.... Relief...... I can actually feel my neck muscle relaxing
i have had intravenous lignocaine it takes about one hour can be painful( dr should explane ) 1st one the best night sleep i had for long time and ache or pain?? next day ache and pain back. 2nd infusion not as painful as 1st did not work at all. it works for some people hope it work for you keep smiling dave
Cant imagine it to work for longer than a few hours? Its a local anaesthetic. IV would affect other things ie blood pressure
