You should draw more, you have a good eye for things, an ability to put that on paper most of us do not have
I have fibro. and found art is a good therapy. It is important to find the right medium. I did not get on with pencils, however I discovered soft pastels. they are more forgiving than pencil. I stated with a basic set which you can get for under Β£10.00. There is a lot ofr free information how to start on the interenet, maybee a book from Amazon. Use textured paper for pastels. Good luck
Hey Debs, Dawn told me you drew her a beautiful picture. I said I'd love that if you have time? I used to love art but I can barely write anymore due to very poor hand dexterity and I miss it. I used to have colouring books, adult ones that are quite complex and I used to do this to calm my moods down, now I can't do that π I have an app on my phone for drawing and colouring in but it's not the same, although I do use it from time to time, it's one of my coping mechanisms when my mood is low or when my anxiety shoots thru the roof!!
How are you today anyway? I hope you are well π

About a sad thing but 'before' made me chuckle as soon as I saw the innocent, unsuspecting nature of the expression, and 'after,' graphically illustrated the idea of what havoc fibro wreaks on our collective unsuspecting soul. Waiting for the series and then the publication! ... Please feel able to do more! A better illustration of our diabolically inspired condition than any words!
I started up again during lockdown and found it really helped me relax . I can't sit at it very long now so takes me a while to finish but a little is better than none at all xx
Very nice reminds me of Scotland, Lovely
Very clever , I cannot draw βΉοΈbut I get why it helps too sit and switch off drawing and colouring in πxx
