Yes I did when I was 21. Symptoms of Fibro started around 40 ish . Do you think there is a connection ?

yes I did I was 29 (47 now) had an major op on my back I was told 18mths ago that I had fibro

Yes, I did too, in 2004, and it was later that same year that I started to experience fibro symptoms which got worse and worse until I was finally diagnosed a couple of years later. I've been told the rapid loss of blood, electrolytes etc preceding the transfusion may have been the trigger xx

I had blood transfusion when i had my eldest daughter she's 29 now i also had a Duffy & Lewis blood i was very anemic @ the time x Gentle hugs & big smiles x

I did back in 1980 after major surgery, but they had to stop the transfusion as I was allergic to the blood.... It wasn't the wrong type or anything nasty like that I just became allergic to the blood they were using. I came up in a horrible rash and had an extremely high temp. So they had to stop the transfusion. I was ok but the rash came back six months later. Luckily it didn't stay around too long, maybe just a couple of months, but the weird thing about it, the rash only appeared on my joints, even my fingers.

It really does make me wonder if there is any connection now, but it would be hard to get any proof... At the time they said they couldn't confirm the two were connected.

i had a transfusion,after giving birth&an "op"in 2002,also had injections for b12,so now take b12 complex every day!hmmmm might be interesting to see if conected,hugs x
