Been in soo much uncomfort and pain with my back and hips since yesterday morning, terribly sore and dry throat, near enough constant numbness in my right hand and pins and needles in my legs and feet :/ just want to chill but cant even get comfy to do so ! Thank god I have a boyfriend like I do tickeling my back and making me cuppa tea after cuppa tea :). New specialist on saturday, hope he knows what to do with me sick of being passed from pillow to post by my doctors, getting beyond a joke! And to top it off even though I have Fibro at 18 alot of the times I need to get around and physically cant my bus pass =DECLINED! x

Fed Up
I am sorry you are going through al this at 18.
I have been to so many doctors over the years and i am fed up of travelling to see them now.
Good luck with your specialist on saturday.
hugs, kel xxxxx
Really feel for you. I can tell you what I do to help with pain and discomfort and just hope some of it might help you. I use a TENS machine which I find really helps and use various settings. I have a plug in heat pad which eases pain, the best painkiller I have used is strong co codamol,I have acupuncture once a fortnight, which my husband has been trained to give me by my pain clinic. I often sleep in a soft neck collar.Support pillows help too. I use arnica gel and a mixture of soothing gels from SBC, available from QVC with the bonus that if you don't like them you can return after trying within thirty days. Hope some of this helps you. Oh and Yogi throat tea from health food shops is brilliant, and rolling up a towell and placing it along your spine and lying on a flat surface is a good one too! Hope you feel a little better soon. X
Yes im hoping this specialist can help me, he is the highest specialist in my area and only comes every 4th saturday just hope he can help. And thanks flowerfairy i will look into them becauce at the monute i have a mixture of ibruphen, volterol and co codamol but try not to take them all the time as I struggle swallowing tablets they make me sick. I have a cornor pillow at my boyfriends house which helps me sleep and a muscle rub because my muscles in my back and shoulders are constantly tensed, i also have microwavable slippers because my feel are always cold and numb but still struggle to get comfy, to sleep and to get around when im having a flare up, the bus pass was going to really help me getting to college but it has been declined :/ xx
I feel for you, I can understand what its like. I suffered with it from 11 and developed chronic fatigue syndrome around 16 which was when i was hospitalized. But I can tell you that you can do things with your life, all my friends are brilliant and so helpful. And so has both of my long term boyfriends have been. And I'm now at uni, struggling, but doing well.
