I am due to see my doctor this afternoon. He diagnosed me with Fibro when I saw him about three weeks ago and I am hoping to get some medication sorted today. I know you can be given pain killers but can they give you anything to help with the constant fatigue?
What medication are you on for your Fibro?

I don't find any painkillers work so I don't take any....trying to manage pain by pacing, gentle exercise, diet and at the minute working on getting enough sleep for which I take amitriptyline and I have RLS and take pramipexoline for that.
Hi! I was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia last Autumn, I am currently taking Gabapentin,Lofepramine and Co Codamol. It can be trial and error in finding the best medication as not everything works for everyone! Hope all went well for you today at the drs Hugs xxx
i take Pregabalin, Amitryptiline, Co-dydromol and Citalopram, the first 2 have had the doses altered over time, to help me sleep and to control the pain a little anyway..but i found the higher doses earlier in the day left me groggy and unable to string a sentence together. the doses have now been reversed so the groggy feeling acts somewhat as a sleep aid...hope this helps.
