I've just been put on duloxetine 30mg daily, took my 1st one today and had a headache all day.

I had to stop taking duloxetine due to really bad headaches/migraines so maybe this is a common side effect I now have to take propranolol 3 times a day and hopefully once the headaches are under control I’m going to start back on the duloxetine fingers crossed, if the headaches are too bad ring your dr and explain how bad they are as there is alternatives or so the pain team told meGood luck xx

I have tried a few, amytriptalin, gabapentine which didn't work very well. I'm now on pregabalin twice a day I've been on this for over a year and put on a bit of weight. It doesn't take to pain away it just helps me deal with it a bit better unless I'm having a real bad day which is like 3 times a week. You will have to see what works for you x

Hi Coffeemum, I’m the same - with the weight gain and take 300mg twice daily of Pregabalin together with Tramadol and the pains in both my legs is so awful. Do you suffer with terrible 😞 painful legs at all?

My legs are terrible due to the fact I have essential tremor in both it means my muscles vibrate. My hips, back of my knees and ankles and the bottom of my feet, and big toe is sore, I walk as though I am heavily pregnant. I also get shock like pain up my foot and different areas of my legs. My feet become numb and the top of my thigh. Do u experience numbness and shocks? X

Hi Coffeemum. Reading your post I can relate to the severe pain in the legs and feet which seem to be new symptoms. I have what seems like electric wires touching each other. Shooting in all areas of the body. I am currently on amitriptyline 3x10mg at night plus Tramadol 50mg every 4 hours. Meds to be reviewed next week which GP has said he might trial a nerve tablet if my increased Meds above did not work. I was diagnosed with Fibro mid/end of last year, but the symptoms seem to be getting added to weekly if not daily. Feet and legs are a killer on a daily basis when I do manage to get myself out of bed it starts with a pins & needles feeling with tingling to the front and back of the legs. Then throughout the day changes to stabbing shooting pain. I cannot manage to slow walk far having to sit down every 5 minutes. I have started to use my Tens Machine just trying to walk around. I have decided I am going to ask my GP for a referral to a Rheumatologist who may investigate my new problems. Wishing you well, as I do to everyone on this group. X
