Thank-you fibro for choosing me,

Thank-you for making me so poorly

Thanks for the pain I suffer each day

Thanks for migraines that won't go away

Thanks for helping me to fall on the floor

Thanks for making everything such a chore

Thanks for making me drop things all the time

Thanks for the struggle to make this rhyme

Thanks for the forgetting where I am

Thanks for never making me feel glam

Thanks for the burning, the rashes too

Thanks for the emotions, which keep making me blue

Thanks for the meds, I take each day

Thank-you fibro for making me this way

Thank-you for making every day such a pain

Thank-you fibro once again

Thank-you for the anxiety & the depression

Thanks for making me leave my profession

Thanks for changing my whole lifestyle

What I'd give to not have fibro just for a while.

Thank-you for giving me the fatigue

I hope one day we may all be freed

But for now Christmas is coming & my wish for you all,

Is a pain free day, however big or small.
