Sorry it didn't work fo ryou Chambers. Hey Diddle, I can't wait to be doing cart wheels across the room - yeh right!!. xx

Thanks for the heads up Chambers - I'm now on Pregabalin and with one at night alongside my Co-codamol and taking Co-codamol in the hours between the Pregabalin meds - my Fibro is much more bearable now. I'm into my 2nd month and still find it amazing that I'm even getting a good 6-8 hours or more sleep most nights! Yippee!

Diddle - Ang - I'm peeing myself at the thought of any of us Fibromites doing cartwheels ANYWHERE - let alone across the room!

Gentle hugs,

Carol xx

Keep seeing that a lot of folks on here take Pregabalin. My Dr. won't prescribe it for me. A lot at the pain clinic took it too. When I went back to my Dr. last month for a meds review, she said didn't want to prescribe it YET! So put me back on Co-codamol. That at least is better than the Naproxen I was prescribed when the previous Dr. took me off Co-codamol. Nothing seems to touch the pain for any length of time. Does anyone have anything that helps with stiffness? Just sitting/standing/holding something in one position for more than 10 mins. means I completely stiffen up. It does wear off quite quickly tho' so bearable.Best wishes Sue.

Hi all, I was on Pregablin and gained a lot of weight on it. I have now changed to Duloxetine, Clonazepan and Co-Dydramol for the pain. I do feel a wee bit better and not so much fibro fog. I have just bought a supply of zivadol and hope i can do cartwheeles soon. I couldn't do them even before i was diagnosed.
