Hi Helen,

Exactly what i thought expensive. When I ordered it I think I was having a Fybro Fog moment.

When they came and I say there was only 30, I thought if these really work and work well its a lot to pay monthly.

I was doing what you ask of me for some else to be a Guinea pig, I am such a coward.

I will try them, well have to at that price.

Thanks for replying take care Lynfran xx

Hi Lynfran. No not a coward at all, I'm the same with anything new . I suffer with stomach problems so I'm always wary of anything I put in it .

The Fibro gets you like that though , I'm always looking for something new to try but I've been warned by the GP not to now take anything apart from mild pain killers if I can. I'm intolerant to mint of all bloomin things and so many things have it in.

Hope it works for you though . Keep me posted ?

Hugs

xx

Hi Helen,

I know what you mean i have Psoriasic Arthritis, Diabeties and an assortments of other things, fun fun fun.

I am on a heavy painkiller Tramadol for the Arthritis which actually works on the FB.

I have lost count of the drugs they have tried out on me and I have had reactions, usually tummy, so like you I am very weary.

I have magnet bracelets and for my pillow, they do help a little, and a little does make a difference, doesnt it. Tiger Balm Plasters are brilliant, my Daughter-in-Law is Cantonese and when I was visitng them once, we were talking about Tiger Balm and then my Son saw them in a chemist and said give them a try, they really work. The Cream does but the Plasters much better. They came back for Christmas and bought me loads, She keep saying on the phone is that all you want, really.

Thank God I can take mint I find mint tea helps my Tummy.

I have a Tens machine, which I havent used for a while, get so fed up. Also another massage thing, I have a go at everything every so often.

Always looking for the one thats works, as if.

Well when I finally give them tablets a go i will let you know.

Hi, I haven't tried it, and it is really expensive. But looking at what it contains, I wouldn't bother. Flax seed also known as linseed is easily available in seed form, oil form or you can get it in a ground form. It is a little expensive but not compared to the cost of the tablets.

Zinc - easily available in your normal diet - I found this paragraph about it

"Most fresh fruits contain zinc, with avocados, raspberries, apricots, blackberries, dates, longan berries, and pomegranates providing especially good sources of the mineral. Organic dried fruits, such as dried peaches, plums, currants, bananas, and figs are also a good source of zinc. Many vegetables also contain zinc. Asparagus, brussels sprouts, peas, pumpkin, and chard are all good sources of dietary zinc"

So just vitamin D - they say 10 minutes of sunshine or daylight everyday, helps your body to make it's own vitamin D.

I am definitely not going to bother with it, as I think the diet and activity needed to ease the consequences of fibro will give you access to everything the tablets contain. It isn't that difficult to do naturally, without taking more tablets. I think it is a bit of a rip off personally!

If the money is no object. - Good Luck! I hope it does help :-)

Hi SuzySparkle,

I thought the same, I take some of the Vits anyway so i thought I would just add the others.

Even if they have got it right it is to expensive to take monthly, has to be cheaper to take separetely.

I am Diabetic with a Greek Hubby so we eat most of the right foods.

Always looking for something that might just work, well enough to ease FB, any little helps.

Thanks for the advice take care Lynfran xx

Hi Lynfran :)

It seems a lot of money for vitamins and minerals that can easily be obtained through dietary means - vitamin D, flax seed oil, zinc and a tiny of sterile water.

These supplements are easily obtainable separately and cheaply and are also clear regarding daily requirements etc. If you eat a healthy balanced diet, there would be no need for Zivadol tablets or any other supplements - lots of leafy green vegetables, many fruits and sunlight would do the trick. Also be careful with supplementing Vitamin D as it's not wise to exceed the recommended daily dose. Having a blood test would be advisable to check your Vitamin D levels. Also if you take other medications Lynfran, best to check with your doctor that if you do intend to take Zivadol tablets that they know you are taking these alongside. :) :)

Hi Lynfran,

I really think you should speak with your GP and give them the info on this stuff, including all the ingredients. The same applies to everyone and for anything new you want to try.

The reason is that you do not know how any of these things might interact with any medication you are already prescribed.

The people selling it neither know nor care what you are already taking, they are in business to make a profit.

So I wouldn't be in too much of a rush to order it.

Check that it's OK to take it first, just to be on the safe side.

happy hugs, kate :)
