Ive always eaten sweet stuff think it was due to me being denied anything sweet as a child cause of my diabetes. But I have found times when I have been craving chocolate so badly. Id eat the chocolate for a few days then crave the salt and vinegar crisps. I found that a multi vitamin worked for me. I researched that craving chocolate meant u were lacking in magnesium.

It might on the other hand just be that your reaching for the quick fix for the fatigue. x

I just Lurrrrrrrrrrrrrrve cake,lots!!! xxx

A common fibro complication is hypoglycemia or low blood sugar hence the sweet cravings HOWEVER this can also be indicative of type two diabetes so inform your doctor and ensure that when you have blood taken that they check for diabetes as routine. If you are concerned with the weight gain that is likely to occur with the sweet cravings then your should eat five or six small balanced meals throughout the day as opposed to three large meals..... xx

i used to hate sweet foods…now i prefer the :) :) :) so yes….it 'must' be a fibro thing :) OK who's got some cake to share :) :) xxx

No excuses, it's just that our eyes are bigger than our bellys, as the old saying goes. I'm the same, could live on sweet stuff only. Anyway, what the hell, we're suffering enough so why not indulge ourselves, we deserve it. We don't ask for, or get much out of life so don't punish yourself or feel guilty. Well that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it. ha ha.
