Has anyone had Anesthetic & Corticosteroid (Steroid) injections?

I had these injections in my back around end of February, not exactly sure what they are meant to do, have felt no difference.

Has anyone else had these done? & found them effective? x

Hi, I had one in my shoulder and it seemed to help that. But I hadn't been diagnosed then, so don't know if it helps fms. x

I had about 20 injections from my neck and shoulders to the bottom of my back, really thought they would have helped but nothing!

I've been at the doctors every other week but I am also at the pain clinic, the doctor doesn't want to change medication etc as I'm at the pain clinic .. Not got another appointment until July!

hi iv had some in my shoulders&they did help,this was before i knew i had fb.but now my shoulders crunch!x

Hello,

Yeah I feel no different, it was the pain clinic that suggested them, hopefully get a doctors appointment next week. They were hesitant to put me on more painkillers just because I'm still studying at uni with exams and stuff .. but seems like the only option just now!
