upper arm muscle

hi all, can anyone tell me if a severe muscle pain in the upper arm has anything to do with fibro.

Hiya lonewalker,

I get pain in both arms in the upper muscles. Luckily for me it's not severe. Have you had a look at the website on the home page and the tags on the blue line at the top?

hi yes probably i get it got it now it is so painful every morning i go to open my blind in lounge and go ow ow ow as it hurts to lift them up and also if someone taps you on arm it feels like a hammer hitting you so yes i would put it down to fibro but always check with your GP to be safe love to you diddle x

Yes I get the pain in muscles as well sometimes I think that the

pain lays on a nerve as it seems to go down my arm into my

hand strange thing fibro

my upper arms hurt too. i describe the FM pain as if someone is squeezing my arms real tight or poking them.....

Yes, I get constant pain in my shoulders kneck, and my arms down to the elbow. People laugh at me because I cant even shrug my coat on or reach up for things! xx

yes i get a lot of pain in my arms but i also suffer with thoracic outlet syndrome which is very very painful....fibro is a pig of an illness...my docs words!!!!!xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I suffer with ME and Fibro and I have a severe burning in my arms and legs 24/7. I see a specialist at the pain clinic every 3 months and go in for a lidocaine infusion which acts as a sodium channel blocker in the pain cells. I find this treatment really helps, and has replaced the need to take amitriptyline or pregabalin or gabapentin, which had side effects. Well worth investigating if your pain is really bad!! xx

I get terrible pains in my upper arms. I noticed this more when I am trying to blow dry my hair. Thats the only time I'd have my arms up for any length of time.

I have a lot of pain in the arm muscles, I can never brush my teeth without having to put my arm down to relieve the pain. Hope it eases up for you x
