Worst Weekend So Far..

I havent known that I have had Fibro long only about a month but this weekend has been horendous, I have had next to no sleep because of the pain, feels like some is trying to remove my hips from my body, the muscles at each side of my spine and my shoulder have been tensed constantly since Friday (look like a body builder!) so there has been no chance of me relaxing or sleeping, I have has to have a day off work and a day off college because I genuenly couldnt move without being in a ridiculous amount of pain... So yeah been awful. On the plus side, my boyfriend treat me to a breakfast this morning because he's seen me in tears hehe bless him Doctors tomorrow afternoon so hopefully he will give me something other then Co-codamol because it isnt working! xx

maybe co-dydramol its a little bit stronger ,i found that worked a bit better than co-codamol ,

Yeah its awful, finally manage to get rid of most of the pain but because your all tensed up STILL cant sleep lol x

Hi missotter, i am sorry you are in so much pain.

There is a tablet called amitriplyn, which helps you sleep and helps with some pain. i take it and i know it doesnt suit everyone but i think its worth a try.

You take it an hour before you go to bed. It does make you groggy in morning for a while, but i would rather that than horrendous pain.

Its worth asking about and there are plenty of blogs and questions on here about it if you wanted to read more.
