I don't understand the question. Do you mean in general, or, in respect of fibro?

I take betahistine for my chronic vertigo. It is also an antihistamine so I dont get reactions to bug bites hayfever etc, but I think thats just a nice side effect.

It does help alot with the dizzyness. xx

Hello

I work in a prison as a nurse I also have fm, the doctors in the

prison prescribe night nurse which is a type of antihistamine

they do this because its better than sleeping tablets not so

addictive, I myself have taken Night Nurse and its not bad

you do get some sleep with it, I expect that it could be like

most things that once you get used to it, maybe it will not

be so good, but I recomment it I find it works and I keep a

a bottle in the cuboard. But saying that when our brain become

awake at night nothing makes you sleep not even strong sleeping

tablets such a strange thing fribro.

I dont think antihistamine would work for anything else that we have

unless you have itchy skin or sneeze alot or have a runny nose

it would not help at all with pain. I hope this helps a bit

keep well viv

Hi.I take NeoClarytin for my allergies(dust, dust mites, grass, trees, pollen, feathers)It is the only one that works for me.I have to take it every day,all year round. * BTW...Twiglet...You have my sympathy for your Vertigo.I had it full on for 5 days in 2010.Couldnt move a muscle or Id be whizzing round the room, while being still. What a HORRIBLE experience. Id rather have all my teeth pulled without anaesthetic, than have that again.I get little episodes now and then.Feels like a wavey sort of feeling. Hope you all have a good weekend.x
