Ouch ..Rib pain..

Does anyone her het a pain in the right side beneath the rib and going round to the back ? Ive had this for several weeks now and am worried incase its not connected to Fibro.,Any feed backs appriciated .

Hey Gandalf, I would say get it checked by a DR to be on safe side.

I am NOT a doctor, just personal experience.

Around a month ago i had similar pain and i thought it was fibro connected , but i end up in A&E as pain was unbearable and i was vomiting.

At first they thought it may be to do with the with galdbladder (had that out 4 yrs ago) But worth keeping in mind, But i also had very high liver levels, so they are still investigating as out patient.

So things are not always what they seem, so as your worried Hun get your self down to GP, best to get checked out.

I have constant pain in my ribs that never goes, so i am used to it, but if it is new for you then go and see you gp hun, Like christine says better to be safe than sorry.

Hi Gandalf,

If in doubt always consult your GP rather than simply putting it down to Fibro. Quite possibly is is the Fibro causing it, I get a lot of my pain in the ribcage, but if it's a new pain for you, then you should seek advice.

I get pain there too like i did when i was heavily pregnant. But this time I was found to have inflamed kidneys due to a water infection I didnt know I had. Problem is we may get new pains but because we have new pains almost every day anyway we just 'put up' with them and blame it on the Fibro, well I do! go get yaself looked at hun, best way xx
