I'm so sorry but I've really got the fb fog and everything seems muddled... I'm so very stressed and not sure how much longer i can fight this DWP . ..I've now signed off jsa and trying to get esa reinstated i called dwp mon to be told they didn't have my sicknote i told them the job centre had faxed it over on the 21/9 but they've lost it,rushed down to jc to have the copy of the copy they faxed on the 21/9 andwas told someone would call within 3 days. ..lol no one called so i called them Fri and they hadn't looked at my case and it would take another 8-10 days to complete...so my ESA is stopped as I'm told I'm fit for work i then have to sign on for JSA then wait 5 weeks for money now have to sign back on to esa while waiting for tribunal and yet again they make me wait for my payment i think it's a punishment for being ill...I'm so tearful everything is making me cry at the moment, I'm sorry for all the people who are having the same problem with dwp they really are pushing people to just give in....I will not be beaten by them..thank you for reading my moan..I truly hope you all have a wonderful Sunday xxx

Join the fibro stress club hun- many of us have been down this road with DWP, I found my local DWP minister and wrote in to him, he did take a few weeks to sort out my mess but at least he did, be aware these local M.P,s are telling DWP minister of these bad practices that's why so much is in the news at present.. If you are struggling then you are entitled to ask job centre for an emergency payment to buy food, avoid rent/mortgage arrears, and to get medications you need.
Aw I'm sorry to hear ur havin all these problems with benefits agency , they just don't understand wen ur sick u can't be running around chasing sick notes . Can ur doctor refer u to adult social services they may be able to help u get ur esa/jsa sorted out , it's a minefield trying to get thru all the red tape / sanctions , I hope u get sorted out soon x
Stick with it you are entitled to it, you are not moaning this is a terrible condition I have the fibro fog too I put cups of coffee in the fridge instead of getting good milk out cook the tea without turning the oven on but I agree the dwp get a bonus for reducing the number of people who claim take care xxx
Hi bren876
Please may I make a couple of suggestions?
Get in touch with Janet our Benefits Adviser and ask her if she is able to help you in anyway. Here are all of her contact details. It is also a freephone number, so you wont have to pay for the call:
healthunlocked.com/fibromya...
Then I would urge you to Google for a Disability Advocate in your area. There are various Charities that will help you with these types of issues.
The CAB are great, but just don't have the funding to see you through the process.
A Disability Advocate will even come with you to any assessments/Tribunals.
Would you mind me asking if you are on any antidepressants at the moment? If not, I think it would be a really good idea for you to go and see your GP to see if he or she thinks you would benefit from taking some antidepressants for a short while.
I have been through what you are going through. My ESA took over 18 months.
My initial assessment was 20 miles away, and then my Tribunal was over 25 miles away.
The stress and worry I went through during that time was unbelievable. I have worked for 34 years full time, but they don't take that into consideration, which in my own personal opinion (not as an Admin) is very wrong.
There is help out there I promise you. If you need me to help you find an Advocate pm me and I will do my best to help you.
Gentle hugs
Lu xx
Hi so sorry your having such a hard time I've been in the same position with js and esa it's soul destroying and you are right they just want you to give up anything to stop you but don't you give in please you will get there hope you have someone fighting your corner like someone from local housing office who help you with your claim or citizen's advice or the law centre just don't give in please will pray for you take care xx
Thank you for all for your kindness and support .
Yes I'm on antidepressants i take 100mg of amitriptyline so doc can up them...i'll make an appointment tomorrow and ask for some help I'm also going to email mp today his very supportive and might be able to helpme again, i don't think dwp like mps getting involved as they mentioned it on my RC . .
Thank you again i was getting myself in a right state you've really cheered me up..
Xxx
I am so pleased to hear that you are not feeling so down now.
The highest dose of Amitryptyline you can take is 175mg so you still have room to up it - obviously after you have spoken to your GP first.
Do you take it around 6pm? If not, try taking it then. That way you don't feel so groggy the next day.
Please do give Janet our Benefits Adviser a call too. I am sure that she will be able to put your mind at rest about some other things as well.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on.

Sorry to read your post. The government departments don't seem to "talk" to one another when it matters to us but if it is beneficial to them they soon communicate.
Do get your MP involved as if they are any good they can be brilliant.
As BlueMermaid3 says try to get someone link an Advocate to be on your side just having someone supporting you can make all the difference. Let us know how you get on.x
Hi bren876 I'm sorry you are having this awful experience with benefits. This happened to me years ago & it was so stressful. I did appeal though and it did get sorted out but it's horible when your money is suddenly stopped like that, it shouldn't be allowed to happen and it causes so much hardship. I see BlueMermaid3 has given you some good advise, so i can't add to that, I just wanted to say I wish you luck with it all & hope it gets sorted out for you soon my friend.
Peace, luv n light
