I know you all will have been through this at some time but I have to ask does anyone know how I can get warm. I have been like this for 3 days now, saw Dr yesterday and she said we can't do anything for you. I have tried my warm beanbag. My legs go into a spasm even the warm electric blanket is no good I get the same problem. I am at work now as I had to drive my wife to care for him. I not able to do anything for him and he is angry with us.

When I get like this I use my heated throw on maximum, tuck it in close around me in bed with the duvet on top and add a scarf & hat if needed. I don't get like this often, I'm usually too hot but this works for me when I just can't heat up.

Tried that thanks but my legs have decided they don't like it hot or they go into spasms and hurt even more

Have you tried magnesium spray/oil on your legs? Also stretching exercises are good if they're tight and cramping, only need to do a few at a time but do them regularly throughout the day. These ones are good

I use hot water bottles, heated socks and drinking something warm, like coffee or tea? Also if you tighten all your muscles, turn them on and off, it can mimic shivering which can pump the blood around your body. It's what we had to do in the playground as a kid in Scotland bc it was so cold!

Do all the normal things to keep warm in bed and add a neck collar ring cushion to your neck. It sorts of acts like a seal around your neck and chin and keeps the heat in at night in bed...Not appropriate during the day but keep active and drink hot liquids to add that extra layer of internal warmth...

Good luck.

Thanks, the problem I have is that I have osteoarthritis in my knees also so now getting around is getting harder to do. Even in bed my restless legs end up with all the duvet off me and over my wife

A little late replying, but I wear onesies nearly all the time. It's not so easy if you have to go out but in the house and even in bed they are brilliant. I sleep in one most nights too, with the hood up as I get very cold ears. Anything else, my legs get very cold. You can get cheap ones but I found the best ones are from a company called onepiece. They're very expensive but so warm and soft and wash well.

a warming bath or shower then fleece pajamas and a oversized hooded jumper, a 3 season sleeping bag, warm drink, sleep to reboot

the quicker route is hot soup to warm within.

research if low of a vitamin that can influence take a multi vit

if your over doing or over tired that can make you go cold it does with me

research spasms can be salt level or need to have tonic water, am not sure what symptoms of blood clots are
