My sister got put on 90mg slow releasing Dihydrocodeine and 4 off here 30mg per day and they have helped her amazingly. Her spine is riddled with arthritis and after a few days of taking this combination she felt amazing for the first time in years. She called me and said please get slow releasing Dihydrocodeine from your doctor so yesterday I already had a appointment with the doctor at the hospital so when I saw him for something else I asked him could I please have the slow releasing Dihydrocodeine and he gave them to me. So here goes I start them today so I will see if they work for me. Please god I hope so as I have been through so much with my spine. I will keep you all posted and let you know if they work for me. I truly hope that you are all as well as you can be. Sending you all warm hugs πŸ€— πŸ€—πŸ€— xxx Jan101

Hi Mydexter

Yes one 90mg and one 30mg in morning together. Then one 30mg four hours later then another 30mg four hours later again then around 6 in the evening one 90mg and 30mg together and she is riddled with arthritis and she says she has no pain now she might get a twinge if she's on her feet for a while so she sits down and rest her self then she is on the move again. Because the arthritis was also in her spine it was going down her legs and she was collapsing and she could not walk the length of the house. So you can see the difference and how it has helped her. I am about to start my first one now as my chemist has just got them in for me. Maybe you could speak to your doctor and try and get them to see if they help you. I will let you know if they help me because I am also on 30 MG of dihydrocodeine. I wish you as well as you can be. Take good care of yourself. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—xx

Hi Jan101 good to hear from you again- I too took Dihydrocdeine (known as Paramol 118) for my anky spond pain along with brufen, yes they are good for pain, all these new anti eplileptic drugs and anti depressants for pain and sleeping just amaze me as they a re not conventional pain relief, the good old tried and tested still work.

Hi can-54

Nice to speak to you again. I have been taken the Dihydrocodeine and paracetamol with neuro fen and was still in pain. I took my first slow releasing Dihydrocodeine 90 MG with a normal Dihydrocodeine 30 MG with paracetamol and Neuro fen today and it has reduced the pain by at least 50% I am absolutely amazed. Like my sister I will carry on with them and hopefully have some Quality of life. You are so right about all these other depressant tablets they do not work for me. I hope you are as well as can be. Take good care of yourself. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—xxxx

Hi Bambamnan

Had to increase the slow releasing dihydrocodeine to 120 mg and doing a lot better on them now. Get a little sore if I am on my feet for to long but really good they do take the pain away. Maybe you could ask your GP and see what they say. I think when you are in pain we will try most things to see if they can help us. As I said I do get some pain if I am on my feet for to long. Take good care of yourself love. πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΉxxx

Hi Mydexter Just giving you a update on the slow releasing dihydrocodeine. I came off the 90mg and went up to the 120 slow releasing dihydrocodeine and have made a good difference. If I am on my feet for to long I get a bit sore so I rest up for a bit and then I am ok again but I can't sit now for two long or I get stiff. I hope this helps you and you can speak with your GP. I hope that you are feeling as well as you can be. Take good care of yourself. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΉxxx

Hi Mydexter

I take 120mg slow releasing dihydrocodeine with 2 paracetamol and 60mg dihydrocodeine normal ones. Sometimes I will add 2 nurofen with them. Then in the afternoon I take 60mg dihydrocodeine with 2 paracetamol and 2 nurofen. Then after dinner the same again as the morning dose. I hope this helps you. Also you must take something to make you go to the toilet as you will get constipation. I hope this helps you. Take good care of yourself. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΉxxx
