I tried 'tiger balm' off Amazon for pain and it worked wonders. Just incase anyone wants to try it. Does give a menthol feeling but helps if anyone is interested.

I am so glad it helps you, sadly, not for me.

thanks I have never tried it, do you put it on your sore bits? Then let it work its magic.

I usually use a tens machine, hot water bottle, naproxen and tramadol x

thank you ‘ so does Pernaton ( I find the red better than the green ) it’s not long lasting relief from the pain but enough to help you get to sleep .

Hello JessFM, thank you. I'd forgotten about Tiger Balm, I used to use it when I had a headache years ago.I find rubbing Viks on my feet helps with the burning pain in my feet, especially just before I go to bed.

Sending gentle hugs x🤗

Well I'm going to give it a go - pretty desperate at the moment and out of ideas, so thank you for the suggestion.

I have chronic pectus carinatum/pigeon chest [rib cage structure] unfortunately "untreatable" due to many epileptic seizures over about 50 years, sometimes the ribs fracture whilst turning over in bed, rubbing the tiger balm is a considerable relief, even the smell of it enhances the effect👌
