Any ideas would be hepful, thanks.

Good morning are you able to see another doctor at the practice? Or speak to your GP and ask him why he won't diagnose you, and if he won't then ask for a referral to Rheumatology at your nearest hospital.
Umm difficult one, what is the GPs problem with diagnosing. Have you had any blood tests etc. It used to be that rheumatologists were the ones to diagnose fibro but now it seems increasingly common that GPs are doing the diagnosing. Maybe, if you find it difficult to talk to your GP about it write to him asking for a firm diagnosis and if he cannot give it could he please refer you to rheumatology at your local hospital. If you write, follow it up with a phone call for a telephone consult to make sure the letter has made your notes and the GP is acting upon your request. Normally fibro is only diagnosed after all relevant tests for other conditions have come back clear.
Good luck
The royal college of physicians website has diagnostic guideline documents available. They have documents for both patients and health professionals. Maybe point your gp in their direction
Have you seen a rheumatologist? That’s who diagnosed me, my Gp just kept sending me for blood tests so I asked him to refer me.
