Hi hope everyone is okay, i have been feeling a bit sad lately wishing i could go back to housekeeping because i miss everyone and enjoyed working there, however made the decision that i felt i couldnt do the job with fibro etc, but still feel sad.
Anyway, wondered if anyone else ever feels dizzy and odd and panicky, wondering if its part of fibro, anxiety or something, dont like to rant but wanted to get this off my chest, and i may be talking to a chiropractor about help to see if something is out of alignment.
Thankyou for reading x

Hi, yes I get dizzy, had lots of falls, but don’t put it all down to fm, if something new comes up, get it checked out, mine is light sensitivity and in my case cfs, but I got diagnosed with it, get an appointment with your doctor, just to rule everything else out, like Bp., due to anx, or vitamin deficiency.
yes I get very dizzy and off balance: also very anxious. Not sure if it’s related to fibromyalgia but being dizzy makes you feel very vulnerable especially if you have to go out and about. I now have to link someone when I walk anywhere. I got sent to the dizzy clinic at our local hospital where they gave me exercises to help the brain adapt to the dizziness. They also diagnosed vestibular migraines and menieres as my hearing has deteriorated badly in my right ear.
Good morning, sorry but would you mind explaining what the dizzy clinic is as I’ve never heard of this. I have been having dizzy spells most days for almost a year and tbh my surgery isn’t taking notice about it at all. So I’d be interested in knowing more about it,
Southport hospital runs the dizzy clinic via the ENT department and they do lots of tests to find the cause of the dizziness. Then they try to treat it. My GP said the clinic was started because dizziness is so common. I went there because I was at the end of my tether. I’ve had dizziness for over 10 years and it varies day to day. It’s a lot better since I learned how to deal with it and the fact that I’m not the only one dealing with it.
Thank you so much for explaining that to me, I really appreciate it. I shall definitely ask at my surgery about information as I am so tired of feeling like this and nobody is taking any notice. I regard this as pretty significant to finding out why I am like it. Is it something serious? Should I be worried? Well, actually I am😡whether I can get a drs apis yet another entirely different question 🫨🤷♀️my dr changed my pain meds two weeks ago due to my age etc. she asked me to book an appointment for two weeks time, which was for toda. I received a msg on Friday evening (too late of course to call the surgery 🙈saying appointment cancelled. I hadn’t even been given enough of the new pain killers to last me until my appointment! So I rang surgery yesterday and after a lot of explaining and thankfully a helpful receptionist🙏was given a cancellation telephone consultation only but at least I could get my prescription sorted. Oh no, this morning another msg it was cancelled again 😡I swear people’s blood pressure is high because of the drs!! Rang 111, very helpful explained I have been left without pain meds since last Friday etc so was told they had sent to my pharmacy information that I needed emergency meds( also I gave a twisted knee 😩I did at work pushing a client in his wheelchair last week) rang pharmacist and was then told they can’t give me the emergency medicine as it’s not been put on repeat as I’ve only been changed to them two weeks ago😡😡sorry for long post but needed to vent. Apparently after calling surgery yet again and going through it all again I am meant to be having a telephone consultation tomorrow morning( we shall see🤔) drs and pharmacies have become an absolute nightmare since covid and many of us are being let down constantly, this has happened to me at least 6 times in the last few months. At the end of my tether😩thank you if you read this and actually get to the end 🙂🥰xx
I certainly read your post to the very end and I can only agree with you that seeing a doctor face to face is almost impossible since covid. Our surgery used to be great but not now. Face to face appointments are rare. Everything is done by e consult or a telephone appointment. So I do sympathise with you.
You definitely need to find out why you are dizzy because it could be anything. I was scared and nobody seemed to take me seriously but I ended up having to leave my job and couldn’t drive. I had to really push my doctor to refer me to ENT. At least they did tests to rule out anything nasty and narrowed it down.
