major headache
Try fever few tablets 100% natural no side effects. If no good ask doctor about botox . My neurologist tried me on various medications which didn’t work so then I was put forward for Botox injections into the skull around about 15 to 20 injections on the NHS. I have the injections every four months and they have completely changed my life, with regards to headaches. I hope this helps.
Hi, has your doctor suggested Amitriptyline? Over the years my migraines got a lot more frequent. Typified by lots of flashing lights moving in zigzags across my vision followed by the headache. When I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a few years ago my doctor put me on a low dose of Amitriptyline (20mg every evening) for the fibro pain and amazingly my migraines stopped. As Amitriptyline makes me feel really groggy in the mornings dry mouth etc...my doctor later suggested I switch to nortriptyline for fibro pain as it has fewer side effects. My migraines came back almost immediately & after after a week of struggling I switched back to Amitriptyline and the migraines stopped immediately. My doctor confirmed that 20mg amitriptyline is used to prevent migraines & in my case it works. Might be worth a try if you don't already take it.
Hey MissvenusIf your headache is anything like mine I really feel for you.
I have these Migraines and they are absolutely the worse pain I have had. In fact I consider it the worse pain of all with Fibromyalgia. It renders me useless and nothing takes it away as we know, it just has to run its course. Mine can last anything from 5 days to 2 weeks., but I also get headaches periodically everyday but it's not as bad but hurts none the less and I think it stems from my neck pain. So I feel for you and wouldn't wanna wish it on anybody. I do get spells of dizziness but I think it may be coz I am of a certain age 🙄 but who knows eh as the fabulous Fibro covers a multitude of symptoms.
Cold feet and hands, yes I also have this have had for many years ,never seem to get them warm.
So I have no advice for helping with above issues other than a cold press for my neck and head seems to help a tiny bit but I think it just makes us feel better of we are doing something to ease the pain.
I wish you well and do hope your head subsides and gives you respite from the pain . When I have the bad heads I find it the most debilitating pain ever.
Hoping for a good Sunday for you

yes, I get migraines, and I am so permanently dizzy that I can't even keep my balance on a Zimmer frame and the local hospital prescribed me daily lunchtime exercises with a Physio, which has given me a mild improvement. I also get terrible brain fog EG - I am in the middle of a sentence and I just can't remember what I was bout to say
Yes! Note my diagnosis is Adult Onset Stills Disease which for me manifests as rheumatoid disease. Migraines started mid 30s worsening with age and I suspect the menopause. HRT has not stopped them. A very long migraine episode recently turned into vestibular migraine and dipping blood pressure…. Long story short, after a night in ER they said Orthostatic Hypotension caused by vestibular issues and/or Serosititis which appears to be an odd development of rheumatoid conditions. Prochlorperazine has been prescribed which stops the nausea at least. Wishing you better days.
