Headache : Hi everyone just wondering... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Headache
Morning, sorry to hear about your headaches, yes I suffer them too, mine is from nerve damage in my neck and spine, it travels up and boy are the headaches bad, the only thing I do is wear dark glasses, and lay in a dark room, and just try to relax. I hope you feel better soon.x
I had a spinal operation fusion decompression in 2020 have nerve damage so lost some feeling in my legs .just so fed up i get alot of headaches but this one i have had this week has been the worst. Thank you for replying x
I am supposed to be having that operation, but I’m so badly claustrophobic I can’t do the MRI, and they said they can’t do the procedure without it, I asked them to send me somewhere, which had an open MRI, but apparently it’s too expensive.
I know how bad these headaches can get, o also suffer from migraines, have you thought about seeing your doctor, seeing as it’s going on so long .
Hi, yes I do,their constant and have been for year's.I have cerviogenic neck which is extremely painful, when I do anything to trigger it the pain comes over my face and can't really do anything.Had trigger point injections lidocaine, accupunture, physio, chiropractor, nothing helps. When it's not that facial pain I can just about put up with it.Headaches are miserable and not being able to find a solution to them is even worse.Really hope you find something to help you.
unfortunately I wake most mornings with a headache, I think is probably because I have a lot of pain in my neck. I am fortunate enough to be retired so I have ibuprofen beside my bed and take them whenever I wake and can stay in bed till it starts to go. I hope you find something suitable soon. Fibro is all about planning ahead.
Sorry to hear you’re struggling. I had bad head every day. It’s a now a thing of the past couple of things that I’ve helped me one of them. Migra-Eeze after two day of taking these I went from BH every day to 1/2 a week. I also have Botox injections in my skull and neck now I very rarely get headaches. It was the neurologist that recommended me to have the Botox injections. I don’t hurt bit of a sting but worth it. I have them every four months. Don’t stress, there is help out there try these things and I hope they help as much as they have helped me. Have a great weekend, love and strength
Ditto, sorry reason for short reply 🤦♀️🤷♀️🥰hope you are feeling free of them very soon 🤗x
Almost every day I wake with a headache... I depend upon morning hydration in a big way, bananas for breakfast and a very restful approach to the day... I can't rush or hurry at all.If I go slowly I can meander a route around them until p.m. so I have to live without deadlines and I do nothing in the mornings!
If I hv to rush the headache becomes more severe and it feels like my head is going to implode. It is truly dreadful...
I wear migraine glasses always and hv medication for migraines which I can usually detect now! It is a hideous condition that takes away days of your existence. I saw a specialist who offered me faster acting medication but I still lose 24/36 hrs to each and every migraine. They all feel like a brain tumour and are very worrying indeed...
Try to keep calm and relax yr way through... they do pass+keep hydrated.
Maybe no achievements that day and try to be kind to yourself the next day...

My daughter has been bedbound with very severe Covid vaccine injury with ME & fibromyalgia symptoms, and has had very bad headaches and nerve pains for the past 2 years. She's been on Gabapentin (3 x 100mg per day) but our private doctor has now suggested a supplement called PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) which is apparently available over the counter at Holland and Barrett in UK. She also often asks for frozen lavender/wheat bags or gel-packs to go on her forehead and these seem to ease her headaches. I hope this helps & good luck!
Hi Shartaylor0264, so sorry you are suffering with headaches, you are not alone. I suffer also some days can be worse than others. What I have done to help is buy a contoured pillow and have regular neck and shoulder massage to try and keep my muscles loose. It hasn’t stopped them completely but I do get some respite. I do hope you find something that will help you too gentle hugs 😊
I suffer from chronic migraine in addition to the muscle pain. I have to take medication for it as it’s unmanageable. Also trying Botox. See a headache specialist. They will give you the right diagnosis and a good treatment.
