Dr seems fed up with me keep going to see him. Is leaving it to rhumatologist to help me . A mongh ago started to get electric shock feeling in hands and feet when stretching. This has now turned to the usual pain in my feet . But left me with the back of my hands and little finger feeling numb to the touch. Best way to discribe it is if you burn youself and the when its started to heal when you touch it you know your touching it But it feels funny. As ive only been struggling with fibro fo 18 months is this another condition i need to cope with.

I hope you get the rheumatologist appointment very soon and hopefully you will get some answers, this will help your doctor when hopefully the rheumatologist sends back the notes from your appointment , but in the meantime if your not happy with your current doc may I suggest you see another one at your surgery as the electric shocks you are felling could be something not connected too Fibro, I do hope you find the forum helpful as well , take care .
Hi yassytinaSorry if I've given the wrong impression my dr upto now has been great . With my local hospital very slow in seeing me regularly he has sent me out of the area to another hospital foa a second opinion and they have been brilliant. They have cent me for mri scans ,xrays and changed my nedication. Luckly my follow up 3 monthly appointment is early November. Its also causing complete numbness/pins and needles overnight eveytime im woken with my usual pain i feel it also.
