Hi, I second what Christine has said....I would go and see your GP, it is not good to worry and get yourself stressed. Stress in itself can make your face droop and go numb, however you want to be sure it is nothing else. Good luck xx

Hi pammy, I get exactly that. My hands get so hot you could use them for hotwater bottles. Its extremly unpleasant and really painful, but as for the numbness in you face have to agree, back to the GP xx

Hi pammy, I have the burning in hands and feet and also have the numbness in right side of face...bit like when you've had an injection at the dentist..not quite numb but not right either. Have also had this in chin, lips and to tongue. Right side is the worst for me and used to be very frightened when it got too bad, thinking I was having a stroke or something but all he MRI scans came back clear. That said, I've had this going on 14 years...if it is new to you, you must get it checked out, cos we can still have other issues along side the fibro. Best being safe than sorry xxx

thank you all for the good advise just moved into my new motablity home. and sing with new doctor so i will get this check out .... thanks guys hugs with wool xxx

Very glad you're going to see your GP. I'm pretty sure that swollen ankles and the facial numbness are not symptoms of fibro - fibro is INVISIBLE.

i gracie59 thank you for ur answer xx am so happy with this site as i am sure i will mate so many new friends

Hi, I get hot, swollen hands too which is a fairly new thing. My hands have always been painful but were blue and cold because I have raynauds. The list with fibro seems endless doesnt it? I feel like I am annoying everyone because there is never a full day when I feel ok. so I try not to moan or have a face on. But sometimes you cant pretend because you feel so awful. I am so glad I have found this site, I feel I can say what I want, when I want to. Thanks xx
