Living with or suffering from fibromyalgia. Language can have a big impact on the way we view a chronic pain condition.

Yes , I definitely agree.I always say Living with .

I am also restricted in how much I can go out because if other illnesses too but I don't use the word Housebound.

It feels so Negative and can make you feel like your house is a prison instead of being your place if Sanctuary.

I call it "Living Life at Home", instead, it makes a big difference to my Mindset.

Most of the time I’m ‘living with’ but sometimes I’m ‘suffering from’!

It definitely does, I'm usually 'dealing' with, as we've really no other choice.

'coping' with would mean I'm on top of it, everything is good so that's a big fat lie.

But, agree, we are all 'living' with it and more ....

When I started in social care people used to say 'wheelchair bound' instead of a 'wheelchair user'.

What a difference just changing one word!
