Hi George, just for clarification may I ask which letter was lost in the post.

Are you saying you have been told you have been awarded PIP and are waiting for the written clarificacation.

Or are you just waiting to see if you have been awarded PIP. I am sorry I am not well just now but not sure what you are asking.

Which letter got lost in the post? Their letter to you or your PIP forms to them. And may I ask how you know they got lost. A little more information may be of help thanks George.

Oh ok sorry my misunderstanding George. Hopefully your letter will arrive soon. Sadly so many problems with the delivery service these days.

Bank holidays mess up everything, so just keep an eye on your account.

I know this information is too late for you but others may be interested. Once you have had your assessment wait a week then contact DWP with your relevant identifying information and request a copy of your assessment. report. On receiving it you can work out what your award may or should be. But you still have to wait for the official award notification letter to arrive before you can think about requesting a mandatory reconsideration of your award . If looking at your assessment report and you find the expected award is not what you think it should be then you have a lot of time to collect additional supporting evidence and information to include in your mandatory reconsideration should you need to go down this route.
