Should I challenge pip award ?

hi, I previously received enhanced daily living & standard mobility.

Just had review in September and I’ve lost 2 points for daily living, even though nothing has got better for me. When the DWP assessor has asked if I can eat & drink I said yes. I forgot to say I use a travel cup to drink from as constantly spill drinks on myself & I eat soft food as can’t cut up food. This info was on previous assessment.

I did go up to enhanced on mobility though & next review in 3 years time, even though it stated I had several chronic conditions & wont get any better.

I’m considering challenging the eating & drinking question to try to get the 2 points back, & say what’s the point of assessing me again in 3 yrs time as I won’t get better & award can’t be increased.

I’m grateful for what I get of course & do spend it on physio, podiatrist & cleaner as I can do very little for myself.

It’s not about the difference in money it’s about the anxiety and fear I feel from when the review letter arrives to the appointment to the outcome which has been almost a year.

Would you challenge this to get 2 points back & hope award extended from 3 to 10 years ?

Thank you for reading this.
