Pip discision letter

Hi guys

Just received a letter from pip saying we now have all the info on making a discision.

My informant lol, tells me the reason it has taken 3 weeks is that they have to calculate how much they owe me backdated 4 months.

I now await the final letter. Will keep you posted.

Hi I'm new, I have had fibromyalgia for about 5years but last 18months have been the worst ever I always have pain. Is pip the new dla? My friend said that I should apply but others say it's impossible to get for fibromyalgia. What do you think,

PIP replaced DLA and some are awarded that have fibro but many have other illnesses as well .

Its awared not on your illness but on how that impacts on your life in two

areas

Do some research their are lots of sites that give you information DWP

and take it from their

C-app pip assesment website.

Unfortunately there is no link, but this site gives you a mock pip & esa test.

Preparation for the assesment is so invaluable a lady who was waiting had her husband & daughter supporting each hand with severe pain on her face.

But 5 mins before the asseser arrived she was talking chatting and moving around.

If she'd have been herself, I feel it would have been in her favourite

Support is great but they can't speak in the assesment unless you communication issues.

But on the whole it's not as bad as people make out

The only surprise I had was a spelling test and maths, to judge my ability regarding managing money, instructions written and verbal
