Good morning, I get really bad pains in my shins, they are the worse part of my Fibromyalgia pains. I use a Magnesium Spray, usually once a day is enough, after my shower every morning. I spray it onto my shins and then gently rub it in. When I bought it, I was sceptical about it but thought it's worth a try, and WOW within minutes of spraying it on the pain in my shins had disappeared and I was pain free (in the shins) for most of the day. That was about 12 months ago. Just recently it's not working quite as well and sometimes I have to use it the 2nd time in a day. Always make sure your legs are clean before using it. This doesn't work for everyone but if you haven't tried it, give it a go, you can buy it on Amazon.

I hope you find some relief soon, sending a gentle hug. x

I suffer with pain in my shins. my bones feel like they are splintering and bending and I get a lot of pressure in my leg bones . Do you have low vitamin B12 or folate as this can produce oversized bone marrow cells. but as I have come to understand every doctor has a different view on fibro

I am due my injection tomorrow I have done this for the last three years to help with the mental drain I think that is why I'm having a bad week my mother has pernicious anaemia and has the same mental drain after 3 months that's why I started self injecting and it helps regardless of what the doctors say. From what I have read people with fibro CFS ME are normally borderline or have low B12 or folate deficiency but go un diagnosed I questioned this for over 20 years with my doctor only to be told 3 years ago I have a folate deficiency both deficiencies apparently if left can cause the oversizing of bone marrow cells which in my mind is causing me all the pain in my shins I tend to put a heat bag or hot water bottle on my legs or magnesium spray applying heat to my bones or joints normally works for me good luck. I think by the time we get to middle age the damage is done and theirs no going back.

Yes, I used to, it was my 'initial' fibromyalgia pain. The doctor thought it was shin splints, but just didn't resolve as expected. It has faded to a great extent, being on Nortriptyline and getting sleep. I also restrict my walking, and gradually built up 10 seconds a week.
