Fibromyalgia affecting my legs as I lay in bed it feels like they are not there although the pain is excruciating , very restless tonight , the pain creeping down my legs
I’ve been experiencing very painful hands fingers even to tap this message is a big effort and very painful my fingers are swollen & bumpy
My upper arms are extremely painful too
The pain radiates sharply in the upper part of the arm the left being the worst . I’m right handed so it’s odd.
I’ve had a lot of tummy aches recently & today woke with a very stiff back that I’m bent over still . Laying on a heated blanket now to try ease it all but I can’t tell you how much my arms hurt
Thx

Morning , well done for even attempting too write this post as you sound like you are going threw it at the moment ? Have you see your doctor lately for a check up ? The heated blanket sounds wonderful think I must have a look at these. X
Hi, have you tried magnesium on your arms, legs + hands ? You can get it in a spray or a lotion. It's my go to every time, especially for my legs. Lots of little stretches throughout the day helps mine too.
If you don't already use an anti-inflammatory you could try a gel like voltarol or a chemist own brand for your hands.
Another poster on here Hidden recommended trying 5KindHempGel. I'm finding it really helpful on my neck, shoulders & chest area. There is a stronger one available now.
I also have a lot of pain in hands and fingers. I also have it in toes, feet and ankles. I saw my dr who said I have reynard syndrome and after mri he said I have a lot of osteoarthritis in joints too just to add to the pain lol x
I have bought arthritis gloves it’s helped s bit when I’m driving the local pharmacist recommended them as she uses them . I suffer oesteoarthiritus too isn’t it just typical you get one thing then a few other ailments too. Take care
hi I suffer really bad with leg pain as well it keeps me up most night tried all the usual pain killers but they don’t help at all I did purchase a electric heat pad which helps slightly and magnesium spray helps with the cramps .Hoping you find a treatment that helps🥴
I also have the majority of my pain in the legs, ankles, feet, hands and wrists. I started using a weighted blanket early this year. It took a while to get used to it but it does help. Good luck 🤞
Hi hun. I have just read your bio and this post. It's like reading my own life. I am so sorry you are feeling the way you do, thank you for my messages on my posts, they have really helped calm my mind. I know what you mean about the depression, anxiety and oh the aches and pains in my body. The pain seems to be excruciatingly worse on my left side (from my neck, left shoulder, forearm wrist, fingers, back and left hip and knee.) The only thing that seems to ease the pain, is if my husband squeezes and puts firm pressure on the parts of my body that hurts. But obviously he can't do it 24/7. I have pressure supports on my elbow and hands, plus I put deep heat or deep freeze gels on too. But, that only works for an hour or so, before the pain comes back. I picked up some deep heat bath liquid yesterday, I haven't tried it yet. But it's supposed to relieve aches and pains. Not holding my breath though.
There seems to be alot of young people on here qith the condition which is so sad. Im 45 and I feel like 145. The stiffness and pain in the mornings is ridiculous. I didn't think 5 years ago when I was thin and running marathons that in 2023 if be legally disabled with a blue badge and not working.
Are you on PIP? Do you have any support at all? Xxx
Thx yes I will try the weighted blanket isn’t it just awful we have to try all these things . 3 years ago I never imagined I’d have a disability like fibromyalgia
I too have wretched leg pain plus in hands and fingers - decided it was age (81) - but interesting that others like me with fibromyalgia have similar pain . Doc gave prescription for morphine . VERY careful with it as I get halucinations !!
