Hi I’m Diane I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 2019. I seem to be worse after having covid . Does any one suffer with eye problems .

Hi Rott. I don't mean to worry you in any way here. I was googling fibromyalgia and I was looking at eyes. I was directed to MS. I still haven't had my diagnosis confirmed by the rheumatologist I saw. They are taking ages. I'm in continual pain. I'm not sleeping either. I've got Universal Credit on my back even though I'm on PIP. I feel miserable every day and just feel like crying. I hope you will be OK. I wish you all the best Jo.

Hi golly123 so sorry to hear that u haven’t been diagnosed it’s so frustrating . It does get u down with pain . Did it take u long to get pip . I hope it won’t b much longer for to wait x

Eye problems - have you been checked for diabetes?

A number of friends had eye problems as a first symptom.

Just a thought - tho you've not mentioned what type of eye problems.

Hi Rott , I am a fellow fibromyalgia sufferer and my eye problems have worsened since COVID in January. I regularly have watering eyes and wake up with blurred vision every morning and have noticed a deteriorating field of vision at my computer at work, this also could be a reaction from my meds ( Duloxetine) It's veery difficult to establish the cause of my sight deterioration.

I am due a routine sight check up ,but reluctant at the moment as my new prescription may not be accurate so I am stopping the meds before I have my next eye test.

Hi it’s horrible with having these problems . There are so many different illnesses caused through fibromyalgia xx I’m having eye check today on way now xx hope your eye check goes well xx

I’m having problems with my left eye that keeps closing on its own still no appt at hospital yet
