Hyper embarrassing question but my whole body smells like urine constantly.I wash 3 times daily & use 48 hour deodorant & I'm smelling like a skunk 🦨
My only medication is Buprenorphine 20 mg patches which you have to change every 7 days.
All I do is non stop sweat & this was happening even before the patches were applied etc.
Totally embarrassed really as I smell also like sulphur & people are noticing & moving away from me in shops etc.
Is this because I have chronic prostatitis and chronic fibromyalgia ?
Hate smelling like a tramp drying in the sun.
I do not drink or eat curry or other foreign foods & not eating cheese 🧀 etc or strong foods.
Any advice please as I don't wish to move to the north pole

Your GP might be able to help or refer you to somewhere that can. There are treatments for excessive sweating. Strangely I saw one in the dentist. Even more strangely I think its Botox or similar. Worth finding out. Hope it goes well
Sorry to hear of your situation. This must be really frustrating for you.
I do know that some illnesses, like kidney problems can result in waste products leaving the body from our skin pores as sweat. That can produce the odor that you describe.
I wonder if it would be a good idea to visit your doctor with this. If it is not your kidneys I am sure that they would be able to determine the issue and help you solve this puzzle.
Hello,, I am very sorry to hear about your problem. This must be very distressing for you. I do not know where you live but if you have a general practitioner I would go and see him and ask for a referral to a liver / kidney consultant. My daughter has a friend with the same complaint and she is being supported by these specialists. Good luck in your search for a diagnosis.
hello. I’ve just watched a film called Holdover (brilliant film - would recommend!) where the main character had Hyperhidrodis. Caused his body to smell and ruined his relationships. I did a bit of research and it’s caused by a condition called trimethylaminuria.
I went through a long phase of my sweat smelling like onions. I do sweat a lot and ended up using antibacterial wipes (this is not advice) but suddenly it just went.
I still sweat but it smells normal.
Definitely get your kidneys checked out as my husband had an infection and really smelt of urine even after a bath.
Hi, you might find this link interesting. As all your bloods are ok it might be worth a dermatologist referral, increasing your fluid intake and looking at your diet?
Glad too read you have had some sympathic replies and advice from members, yes I agree have a word with your doctor , I’m looking forward too September temperatures August has been alittle hot for me .
