does not look as if it is relevant to fibro and the metanalysis compares to other treatments that are not relevant to fibro.

it does help ppl with Fibromaylagia as i did found most clinics doing these treatment they treat ppl with Fibromaylagia, also my main issue with the pain that is constants around hips, back and legs, my trigger points are painful, i also asked my physiotherapy regards this injections, he said these type of injects are very good, will help and worth try it. my MRI shows hip bursitis, so thats why looking for that type of treatment, however, i do get the other fibro symptoms, im taking the medication like all you taking but no improvement. i cant sleep from my painful hips and legs.

it may be relevant for bursitis but the research you quoted does not seem to be relevant to fibro in its mechanism or comparable treatments. As to what the clinics suggest again I could not say what they claim.

However, I have never heard of this in relation to fibro and from what you have cited I would not be querying its use with out medical advisory board as it does not appear to be relevant.

best of luck.

Hi Mr_T212 👋

I’m across the pond and yes I did prolotherapy for 2 years on my left rotator cuff to repair countless micro tears.

I would have continued to have the therapy longer but my specialist switched the solution to a fish based one without consulting me first because he felt it was taking too long. I had a bad reaction to that solution because of a few problems with certain types of fish. Because of my reaction he immediately stopped the treatments.

Feel free to ask me questions.

Oh by the way it cured my micro tears by 98 %. The horrific pain swelling and nonuse of my left arm finally was resolved.

PS I have severe fibromyalgia.

Good morning Mr T 👋

You’re most welcome my friend.

Yes I do think it is worth giving it a go. As my specialist explained how it works…the injection is made from a sugar/water solution. It’s a natural solution so it’s safe. Once it’s injected it creates an irritation which shakes up the surrounding tissues defense mechanisms and results in healing.

The physical therapy I took for 2 years prior had little affect. So my PT Doctor referred me to my rehab specialist. He explained how it worked and then informed me that I had to stop all of my medications that would stop the process of healing for 2 weeks before then 1 week after each prolo shot. (after my prolo ended the protocol was revised and the time pre & post therapy was reduced without meds )

I must admit it was so hard to endure all of my health issues without my meds but I kept telling myself that this was a hurt sooo good pain because it will result in healing.

As I previously mentioned it was 98% resolved.

I don’t regret doing it.

Give it a go and see. At least you’ve tried it and the end results just may lead to healing your bursitis.

I was 48 when I started the prolo. I’m now 70. I only recently started having some flare ups with my rotator cuff.

Pretty good lasting results I think.

I have just said a special prayer for you that this will be successful should you try it.

Best wishes my friend.

Let me know how you’re doing if you try it please.

Prayers and positive thoughts.

EJ 😊🌿🌸🦋🙏🕊
