how i can quite Buprenorphine patches?

im on 10m patc. also i ve tried 2 weeks of and i was very depressed and getting Anxiety in the morning.

You should NEVER try to quit patches without the help. advice and assistance of your GP or medics as you can and will create more problems for yourself. If you feel you want to quit then contact your GP who will be there to support you and give you advice and help on the way. Please, it is dangerous to do it on your own without professional medical assistance.

I already did consult my doctor, im interested to know people that managed to get off this drug.

Sorry, I didn't mean to pry or upset you, but it is extremely dangerous to try to wean yourself off this drug without medical supervision.

Hi there are lower patches such as the 5 and the 2. Personally I find Buprephorine much better than other opoids I've been on. But to get off any drug tapering is the way to go. I would go onto 5 micro gramme patch for two months then the 2 for another two months. Then try going without. Going from ten straight to zero is too much my friend and can be dangerous causing fits. Speak to your Dr about tapering off and the exact times, this is just my non medical estimate. But do it this way and you will be gently off in a few months. I bet you've been on them for a lot longer! Good luck.
