Throat/neck issues

This has been going on for decades. Feeling as though my throat is swollen. and my neck feels like swollen glands (again not actually swollen and no lumps), dry throat (not mouth)Ive been snoring for over 10 years which causes marriage issues. Was thinking Bruxium but its the other way around. I also have tender points around neck. My health is excellent. My head is the major issue with fibro not my body and Im not in pain so I think its more Myofascial. Ive started doing massage, stretching and self chiropractic but the tender points seem more tender with relief to my ears as the pressure has gone. What I call a dull fatigue. Im on 30mg of Duloxtine (which I am going to increase) and ACE for high blood pressure. I am also wondering if the neck issue is causing the high BP as there is nothing else. Also seems to come in waves. I may be symptom free for a few weeks then it cycles again. Just wondering if anyone else gets this and what if any relief I can get.

Sorry I’ve tried to send this message a lot of times with no success so if there are a lot of messages on here from me then you know what happened

Have you been sent to a sleep clinic ? If not ask if you can because you may have sleep apnoea. I had what you had and was diagnosed. Now I don’t snore at all. No throat problems.

I do have neck problems but I can’t offer any practical advice since it is new for me.

I like Dom’s suggestion of the sleep clinic. Sounds like you need a professional to look at it. And as someone whose partner snores very loudly, I’m sure your other half will thank you for getting it sorted out.

Hi, I suffer a lot with my throat, I have dystonia and lost my voice for 13 months, it’s gone again now, 6 weeks so far and no sign of it returning. Very frustrating and painful to try to talk as it puts pressure on my chest. My glands are nearly always swollen. I work at a Schl so it’s very hard!!
