What I found surprising was that the govt let the NHS deal with it rather than give the contract and millions of pounds to one of their mates. Its a pity that they didn't do the same for PPE distribution, and track and trace.
Hello , glad you have had your 1st one, I did feel very tired the next 2 days but so did some of my friends and they don t have fibro , , my husband had the Oxford , felt heady for a day then fine, if this sets us on the road to have a more normal life and protect us bring on the 2nd 😀😀glad your wife is booked in too . Take care .
Unfortunately fibro alone isn’t enough to be bumped up the vaccination list. Some areas are getting through the age groups pretty quickly so hopefully you will get yours soon x
Glad uve had it. Here in the new forest they are doing over 50s hubby and i had pfeizer on friday. Arm ached painful to lift arm that day .fine next day. Good luck all
Hey I had the Oxford one approximately three weeks ago- I slept like a baby that evening and then had a temp and flu like feeling the next day for literally a day- apart from a achey/heavy arm which is only now feeling normal I have no regrets- I am 55 and am a key worker and I am so happy to have had the vaccine so I can safely carry out work duties - and I look forward to being able to hug my grandchildren - 2nd jab due in April
Had mine last Thursday, I'm 49 for a few more days 🙊 had the Pfizer one. Had sore arm for a day, then a fibro flare for a few days. But fingers crossed, worth it! No date for 2nd dose though
I had the AZ in January. About 12 hours later I awoke with teeth chattering chills. Following morning headache & sinus pain, very tired & painful arm. It was very like a sudden dose of flu.
On the 3rd day all gone & back to where I was before. The aches & bruised arm lasted about 3 weeks. I thought it was worth it & a lot better than getting the virus.
