probable misdiagnose

hi ive just joined has anyone had a misdiagnose was told i have osteoarthritis but they couldnt tell me where ,, i tick most the boxes for fibromyalgia

Hi dusty-pinkOsteoarthritis is easily diagnosed by x-ray and examination of joints. I have both osteoarthritis and fibro. Fibro is usually only diagnosed when all other avenues have proved negative. It can take many years to finally get a fibro diagnosis.

Have you had any blood tests, x-rays, scans, nerve conduction tests etc?

Perhaps seeing another GP and asking a few questions will answer your questions. You don’t say whether you have seen a rheumatologist as that is another way of exploring a diagnosis.

i have yes , osteo is in my family . but the fact drs cant tell me where i have it is a concern , when i asked they just said it doesnt say on your notes ..my dr himself and a member of the hospital when i tell them my symptoms always ask if i have been diagnosed with fibro x
